Big, Bold, and Layered are the main words to describe my abstract paintings. They are always vibrant and complex and represent women in many ways:
They have many layers that are made up of fine details intermixed with broad sweeping strokes.
There are some dark spots but many joy-filled, colourful ones.
They transform greatly as they evolve from beginning, through the messy middle, and finally to the ending, which is complete and whole and wouldn't be the same without having gone through all of the metamorphosis, trials, and growth of the evolution stages.
The finished work is beautiful in its messiness, unpredictability and summation of all the events (i.e. layers) of the past.
